"Shall Valley School District No. RE-1 taxes be increased $2 Million annually for a limited five-year period to provide funds for:
- Retaining and attracting high quality teachers and staff through regionally competitive salaries and benefits,
- Preventing cuts to music and art programs, and extra curricular activities such as athletics, Future Farmers of America, Future Business Leaders of America, and other student driven programs,
- Supporting and expanding academic and employment opportunities for students through maintaining and updating technology,
- Replacing older buses, school vehicles, and transportation security equipment based on condition and safety,
By a property tax to be levied for tax collection year 2018 through tax collection year 2022 at a rate sufficient to produce the amount specified above, in which taxes shall be deposited into a designated account within the district general fund, and shall be in addition to property taxes otherwise authorized to be levied for the general fund?
