2015 Recall Attempt
A recall against 3 sitting directors made it to ballot on September 1st, 2015. The 3 on the ballot were Michael Geesen (Republican), Luisa Ines Lumbano (cannot find record), and Candice Reed (Republican). Here are the sample ballot and the Notice of Election. The recall was spurred by the firing of Superintendent/Principal Robin Purdy. Purdy has since become Superintendent of the Bennet 29J.
Running to succeed each were John Dillingham (Unaffiliated), James Johnson (Republican), and Guy Svec (Republican), respectively.
Cannot find results. However, as of September 2017, both Michael Geesen and Candice Reed remain on the board. Michael Geesen is running for re-election in 2017.
