Referendum 2B - Reauthorizing City Council members health and dental insurance
"Shall the City of Steamboat Springs adopt an ordinance, effective November 8, 2017, authorizing the members of the City Council to continue to receive as compensation medical and dental health insurance benefits, which the City of Steamboat Springs has offered to City COuncil members since 1990, by participating in the City of Steamboat Springs medical and dental health insurance plan on the same terms and conditions as such participation is offered to full time City employees by amending the City's Municipal Code by the addition of the following Section 2-2.5:
Sec. 2-2.5. City Council Health Insurance Benefit
In addition to the salary authorized by Section 2-2 of this code, each member of the City Council may participate in the City of Steamboat Springs medical and dental health insurance plan on the same terms and conditions as such participation is offered to full time City employees?
